What If Time Is Better Imagined as a Spiral? Are “Aliens” Us from the Future?
Imagine time as a line: past → present → future.
Now imagine a circle: days, seasons, and orbits repeat.
But when Earth completes another orbit, we have not returned to the same year.
A spiral combines those ideas. Patterns recur, while each turn carries us farther along history.
That image made me think about the time-traveller UFO hypothesis.
Biological anthropologist Dr Michael P. Masters has explored the possibility that beings described as “aliens” could be distant human descendants returning to study their own past.
It is a thought-provoking proposal, not an established explanation for UFOs or UAP. Could an unfamiliar visitor be us, rather than someone from another world?
There is a crucial difficulty. A spiral rising from past to future still moves forward. For future humans to visit us, they would need a way back to an earlier point in time. Such journeys remain theoretical; no working method has been demonstrated.
Nor does the familiar “grey alien” appearance establish a predictable path of human evolution.
NASA says the available UAP data do not support a conclusion that these sightings represent alien technology. They do not establish time travellers, either.If history could be revisited, would its visitors look like strangers—or like our descendants?
